X-Jets took the marine standard for high strength, dependable release under pressure and created it’s own 316 stainless steel low profile safety release. The Falcon jetpack has three of these releases as a dependable method of security, and an equally dependable method of release. Woven encapsulated spheres are easy to find, have low drag, and look the part. 316 is a formulation of stainless steel that is designed to hold up to use in salt water without corrosion. Also indicated with the “W5” marking. Superior to “W4” and 304 stainless steels which corrode, rust in marine environments. 316 costs more than other formulations of stainless steel, however the conditions and long term life of hydroflight gear demands the best materials.
